Gil Caffray

Gil Caffray is a Trustee at Phillips Academy. Gil has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry.

Gil started their career at Tiger Management LLC in 1993 as the Global Head Trader. Gil was quickly promoted to Senior Managing Director and became a member of the Management Committee. Gil left Tiger in 2000 to co-found FrontPoint Partners LLC, where they served as CEO for eight years.

In 2006, they joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management as Vice Chairman. Gil left Morgan Stanley in 2009 to become the CEO of Touradji Capital Management. Gil returned to Tiger Management in 2011 and served as the Chief Investment Officer until 2019.

Gil Caffray's educational career began at Phillips Academy, Andover MA where they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Gil then attended Princeton University where they majored in Economics.
