Gil Winograd

Gil Winograd has over 28 years of experience in engineering and technology. Gil began their career in 1991 as an Embedded Software Engineer at SoMat Corporation. In 2000, they moved to Broadcom, where they held the role of Principle Scientist. In 2005, they became the CTO of Novelics. In 2011, they were appointed Director of Engineering at Mentor Graphics. In 2015, they were promoted to Vice President of Engineering at Connected Holdings. Gil currently holds the same role at Phillips Connect Technologies, which they have been with since 2019.

Gil Winograd obtained a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1989-1991. Gil then continued their studies at the same school, graduating with an M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1992-1994. Finally, they obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University in 1995-2000.
