Patrick Cavanaugh has extensive experience in accounting and finance. Patrick started their career as an Accounting Intern at LasikPlus in 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as an A/R Coordinator at Duro Bag Manufacturing Company, where they managed specialty product accounts and implemented improved payment processes.

In 2012, Cavanaugh joined Phillips Edison & Company, where they held various roles. Patrick started as a Property Accountant, overseeing the monthly accounting responsibilities for 25 properties. This included tasks such as bank reconciliations, invoice approval and coding, reviewing income statements, and collaborating with different teams to address property-related issues.

Cavanaugh then progressed to become a Fund Accountant, responsible for handling the monthly accounting responsibilities for third-party accounts with Phillips Edison. Their tasks included bank reconciliations, invoice processing, variance analysis, expense and income accruals, and general ledger reconciliation.

Patrick then advanced to the role of Manager of Fund Accounting, where they continued overseeing the financial aspects of third-party accounts. Cavanaugh later became the Senior Manager of Fund Accounting, and ultimately, the Director of Fund Accounting.

Patrick Cavanaugh received their Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business in the years 2004 to 2009.
