Dirk Smeyers

Dirk Smeyers is a retired Global Product Management Lead of the General HID Business Conventional Lamps & Lamp Electronics at Signify, where they served as Director of Product Management for HID Professional Lamps since 2018. Prior to this role, Dirk gained extensive experience at Philips Lighting, including positions as European Segment Marketing Director for Outdoor Lighting and Director of Product Marketing for HID Outdoor & Industry Lighting. Their career began at Bayer as a Production Shift Leader from 1984 to 1986. Dirk holds a degree in Process Technics from Katholieke Ïndustriële Hogeschool De Nayer, obtained between 1978 and 1982.
