Qijun Liu

Qijun Liu is an Ultrasound ASIC Engineer at Philips, having commenced the role in January 2024. Prior to this, Qijun served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University from September 2018 to December 2023, focusing on the development of a luminescence-to-digital readout system in 65nm CMOS technology for monitoring Crohn’s disease. Qijun's experience includes a position as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta, where development of flexible optical sensor prototypes was achieved, and an Avionics Engineer Intern role at United Airlines, which involved analyzing engineering documents for aircraft systems. Additionally, Qijun interned at Corning Optical Communications, contributing to a map viewer application for system I/O devices, and led a project at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute focused on integrating occupancy sensors into light therapy devices. Qijun holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with a dual focus in Computer System Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
