Seth Mangini is a PhD candidate in the Department of Earth Sciences at Montana State University, focusing on fluvial morphology, Holocene stratigraphy, and stream and wetland restoration. Currently serving as Principal at 99 Stream Restoration and Conservation Services since January 2024, Seth also manages an EPA Clean Water Act 319 Stream and Wetland Restoration project as the Stream Restoration Coordinator at Philmont Scout Ranch. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty at Montana State University, Trail Crew Leader with the U.S. Forest Service, Research Assistant at Montana State University, and Associate Director of Conservation at Philmont Scout Ranch. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Geological and Earth Sciences from Montana State University, a Master of Earth Sciences in Geochemistry, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from John Carroll University. Seth has also previously run as a candidate for the Montana Legislature.
