Shishir Paudel Ph. D.

Shishir Paudel, Ph. D., is a skilled plant ecologist with extensive experience in ecological research and teaching. Currently serving as a Plant Ecologist at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duquesne University, Shishir Paudel has focused on the ecological effects of non-native earthworms on San Clemente Island, California. Previous roles include Postdoctoral Fellow at Oklahoma State University, where project oversight included the impact of climate change and plant invasions in coastal ecosystems, and Instructor at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, teaching courses related to wetland ecology and research design. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from Southern Illinois University and a Master's degree from the University of Bergen, Norway, complemented by additional studies in Nepal.
