Lauren Nicholson

Lauren Nicholson has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 as an Accounts Assistant at Alfred McAlpine IT Services Ltd. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Robb Ferguson Chartered Accountants as a Senior Accountant. In 2014, they joined Vships - Marine Services Division as a Financial Accountant before moving to MB Aerospace in 2015 for a brief period as a Financial Accountant. In the same year, they joined KPMG UK and held multiple roles including Small Business Accounting Team Leader, Delivery Centre Manager - Glasgow, and SBA Operations Senior Manager. Their most recent role is Chief Financial Officer at Phlo, starting in November 2019.

Lauren Nicholson earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accountancy from the University of Stirling, which they attended from 2004 to 2008. After completing their bachelor's degree, they enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland, where they studied to become a Chartered Accountant from 2008 to 2011. In August 2011, Lauren obtained the Chartered Accountant certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS).
