Marina Williams has been in the photography and videography industry since 2007, when they started their own business as an owner and photographer. In 2010, they worked as a producer and writer for CCCP, where they developed and produced a series of documentaries for the Channel Culture. Marina was also in charge of securing rights managed content, managing day to day on-set production duties, and supervising post-production process. In 2011, they worked as an international distribution manager and festival coordinator for INTERCINEMA agency, where they provided business correspondence in English and Russian with major international festivals, broadcasters, and distributors. Marina also negotiated international movie distribution rights and organized the logistics of printing film reels, DCP's, and distributing movie copies internationally. In 2012, they worked as a producer and video editor for Panacea3. Finally, in 2015, they co-founded Phocus.io, where they served as the Photography Officer.
Marina Williams attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Broadcast Journalism from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they achieved a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Publishing and Journalism from Moscow State University of Printing Arts (MGUP) between 2002 and 2007.
