Ross Youngdale has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology and security services. Ross started their career as a Platoon Sgt./Network Engineer/Marksmanship Coach in the United States Marine Corps in 1992 and served till 1997. Following this, they worked as a 3rd Level Banyan Vines Engineer at GTE Data Services from 1997 to 1999. In 2000, they joined Sumter Regional Hospital as an IT Project Manager before moving to Crisp Regional Health Services in 2003, where they served as an IT Director/CIO till 2011. Ross then joined Phoebe Sumter Medical Center as a Regional IS Director in 2010 and held this position until 2016. Currently, they are serving as the Director of IS Technology and Security Services at Phoebe Putney Health System.

Ross Youngdale obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix, where they studied from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in e-Business at the University of Phoenix from 2000 to 2003. Ross also attended Houston Community College in 1990-1991 and Texas Tech University in 1989-1990. Ross Youngdale has additional certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² obtained in July 2021, a Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS obtained in June 2021, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers.
