David Lenhardt

Vice Chair at Phoenix Art Museum

David Lenhardt is the current Vice Chair at Phoenix Art Museum. David has also served as the CEO of PetSmart from 2013 to 2015, during which time they led the company through a strategic review process that resulted in the sale of PetSmart to BC Partners for $8.7 billion. Prior to their tenure at PetSmart, Lenhardt served as the Board Director at Banfield Pet Hospital from 2011 to 2015. David has also held leadership positions at Dogtopia, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and the Phoenix Art Museum.

David Lenhardt received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. David also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Government from Cornell University, where they graduated Magna Cum Laude.
