Leonore Reiser

Data Wrangler, Bio-curator at Phoenix Bioinformatics

Leonore Reiser is an experienced professional in bioinformatics and education, currently serving as a Data Wrangler and Bio-Curator at Phoenix Bioinformatics Corporation since February 2014. Previous roles include Program Manager at Breakout Labs, where innovative science funding for early-stage companies was facilitated, and Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley Extension, teaching General and Developmental Biology. Leonore has also coordinated undergraduate research programs at UC Berkeley's Biology Scholars Program and served as Program Coordinator at MSI, where recruitment and internship programs were implemented. Earlier experience includes a role as Education/Outreach Coordinator at the Carnegie Institution for Science, focusing on undergraduate research experiences, and postdoctoral research fellowships at UC Berkeley, specializing in maize genetics. Leonore holds a Ph.D. in Plant Biology from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Biology from SUNY New Paltz.
