Michael Laver-Smith

Michael Laver-Smith serves as a Board Trustee at Hadlow Rural Community School since January 2023, overseeing the school's strategic direction and performance while ensuring accountability for educational outcomes and financial governance. Additionally, Michael has been involved with Sevenoaks District Scouts as a Group Lead Volunteer and Cub Scout Leader since March 2017, and has held the position of Head of IT at Phoenix Futures since July 2016. Prior experience includes a variety of IT management roles at Sevenoaks District Council from June 1999 to July 2016, where responsibilities encompassed IT strategy, service delivery, and compliance with industry standards. Michael is also a Board Trustee and Group Lead Volunteer at 10th Sevenoaks Scout Group since July 2017, contributing to the effective management of leadership teams and activities.
