Arjuna Upasena

Arjuna Upasena is an accomplished Investment Performance Analyst currently working at Phoenix Group since April 2025. Prior to this role, Arjuna held significant positions including Head of Analytical Platforms at Liontrust Asset Management PLC, where key achievements included enhancing analyst reports and maximizing the use of FactSet for performance reporting. Additional experience encompasses roles at AXA Investment Managers, where risk evaluations and investment analysis processes were improved, and Schroders, focusing on enhancing performance reporting and controls. Earlier, Arjuna led risk and quantitative analysis teams at Nomura Asset Management and played a pivotal role in integrating FactSet as a core performance attribution platform. Arjuna holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Flinders University, a Bachelor’s degree in Pure Mathematics from the University of the Philippines at Los Banos, and completed primary and secondary education at Trinity College, Kandy.
