Fazal Mohammed

Fazal Mohammed has a diverse range of work experience. Fazal is currently working as the Head of Ops Risk AM at Phoenix Group since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Swiss Re from September 2018 to March 2023 as a Senior Operational Risk Manager with global oversight for the Asset Management business. Fazal also worked at Goldman Sachs, starting in 2016, where they held various roles including Executive Director of Synthetic Derivative Middle Office from April 2017 to June 2018, Executive Director of Prime Brokerage/Project Management from September 2016 to March 2017, and Vice President of Prime Brokerage from May 2013 to September 2015. Additionally, at Goldman Sachs, they served as a Team Manager of Risk and Control from July 2006 to August 2012.

Fazal Mohammed began their education at Cathedral High School from 1993 to 2001, where they pursued a High School degree with a focus on Business/Commerce. After completing their high school education, they enrolled at Baldwins Methodist College from 2003 to 2006. During this time, Fazal achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. Later, Fazal attended the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Bengaluru from 2014 to 2015, where they obtained a PGDM degree specializing in Human Resources Management and Services.
