Nuwan Goonetilleke

Nuwan Goonetilleke is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets and portfolio management. Currently, Nuwan serves as Head of Capital Markets, Head of Shareholder Assets, and Head of Markets and Portfolio Management at Phoenix Group since September 2020. Prior to this role, Nuwan was Investment Director at ReAssure from March 2019 to September 2020 and held key positions at Swiss Re from November 2005 to March 2019, including Head of Sterling Rates and Senior Fund Manager, overseeing GBP and CHF fixed income portfolios valued at approximately $22 billion. Nuwan began the career at Credit Suisse First Boston in Product Control for interest rate products from August 2004 to November 2005. Nuwan holds a degree from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 2005.
