Jorge L Jaramillo

Jorge L Jaramillo currently serves as the Head of Underwriting & Portfolio Management at Phoenix Merchant Partners since November 2024. Prior to this role, Jorge held various significant positions at ORIX Corporation USA from October 2008 to November 2024, including Chief of Staff to the CEO and CIO, as well as Managing Director & Group Head for ORIX Americas, focusing on M&A, private equity investments, and distressed investing. Jorge has also served on the boards of RB Capital and Sistemcobro S.A.S, and worked at Highland Capital Management as Vice President. Jorge's career began at Wells Fargo as a Senior Associate in the Leveraged Finance & High Yield Group. Jorge holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Butler University.
