Margi Evanson, C.M. has a diverse work experience. Margi started their career in 2001 at America West Airlines, where they served as Manager of Ground Safety and Sr. Analyst of Ground Safety and Operations until 2005. Margi then joined US Airways, now American Airlines, as the Senior Manager of Aircraft Appearance. In 2007, they moved to Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority, where they held various positions including Supervisor, Manager of Operations and Maintenance, and currently serves as the Director of Operations and Maintenance.

Margi Evanson, C.M. holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Organizational Leadership from Arizona State University. Margi also obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Organizational Management from Rio Salado College. In addition to their academic qualifications, Margi has pursued various certifications to enhance their professional expertise. These certifications include Aviation Accident Investigation - Professional Series from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Certified Member (CM) designation from AAAE (American Association of Airport Executives), and completion of the Emergency Management Institute Professional Development Series offered by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency).
