Lemuel Bonilla has a diversified work experience that spans over several industries. Lemuel started their career in 1995 as a Glass Forming Engineer at Premium Packaging International, Inc. where they ensured high efficiency in glass bottle manufacturing. In 1997, they joined Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation as a Consumer Lubricants Account Manager, responsible for sales and marketing to automotive OEMs in the Northern Philippines. Lemuel later took on the role of Global Marine Account Manager and Regional Distribution Center Manager before becoming the Marine Supply Chain Manager. In 2010, they transitioned to become the Logistics Project Manager for ASEA North, managing logistics-related projects for the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. Prior to that, they were the After Sales Manager at Chevrolet Cebu in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, they served as the Commercial Sales Manager in Visayas for Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Inc. In 2017, they became the Industry Segment Manager for Marine & Fishing before assuming their current position as the Geographical Sales Manager for Key Accounts and Marine Visayas.

From 1990 to 1995, Lemuel Bonilla attended the University of San Jose-Recoletos where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
