Veljko Gucic

Veljko Gucic has a range of professional experience in the healthcare industry. Veljko most recently served as the Head of Strategic Commercial Partnerships at PHOENIX group, where they oversaw the company's operations and implemented innovative strategies for the retail pharmacy business. Prior to this, Veljko held the position of Director of Operations - BENU Pharmacy at the same company, where they led a team in expanding the business and implementing digital transformation initiatives.

Before joining PHOENIX group, Veljko worked at MediGroup Srbija as the Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the overall business operations of the largest private healthcare network in the Balkan region. During their time there, they conducted strategic planning and negotiated funding agreements.

Earlier in their career, Veljko worked at CVS Health, where they held various roles including Pharmacy Supervisor and Pharmacy Manager. In these positions, they oversaw pharmacy operations, managed teams, and implemented operational improvements.

Veljko Gucic began their education in 1999 at the University of Montana, where they pursued a Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree in the field of Pharmacy. Veljko completed their degree in 2005. In 2019, Veljko obtained certifications in Advanced Agile and Scrum Practitioner from Agile Humans, as well as Group Leadership Certification from the iOpener Institute for People and Performance. Veljko also obtained a certification in Culture Management and Culture Shaping from Senn Delaney, a Heidrick & Struggles company in 2011. Veljko continued their education in 2020 by enrolling at HEC Paris, where they pursued an Executive MBA. Veljko is expected to complete their degree in 2022.
