Ryan Hertel has a diverse work history, starting their career at Nestle USA as a Production Facilitator. In this role, they managed two production departments and successfully achieved safety, production, maintenance, and quality targets with a team of over 50 employees.

Ryan then joined Phoenix International as a General Manager, overseeing operations for a period of six months.

Moving on to Phoenix Lighting, Ryan took on multiple roles. Ryan played a key role in transitioning the industry to LED lighting on container handling equipment.

Ryan then served as Managing Director for Ports & Terminals, leading global sales, engineering, marketing, and customer service teams. Ryan managed business unit budgets, reported financial results to ownership, and supported sales to terminal operators and equipment suppliers.

Currently, Ryan holds the position of Vice President of Business Development and Marketing at Phoenix Lighting. Ryan is responsible for the company's business development efforts, including market and product strategy, channel and partnership development, and leading the marketing department's demand generation activities. Their focus is on identifying market needs and maximizing sales pipeline and revenue impact.

Ryan Hertel holds an MBA in Strategic Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which they completed from 2001 to 2006.
