Dr. Julio Rubio

Dr. Julio Rubio has worked at Phoenix Union High School District since 2008. Dr. Julio started as a High School Spanish Teacher and then became an Assistant Principal in 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Principal.

Dr. Julio Rubio holds a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2023. Dr. Julio also earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from Northern Arizona University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from Arizona State University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. In addition, they hold an Associate of Arts - AA degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies, which they obtained from Phoenix College from 2003 to 2005.
