Tim Stafford

Tim Stafford is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering and Director of Test and Validation at Phoenix Motorcars since January 2024. Previously, Tim held key positions at Proterra Inc from July 2017 to April 2024, including Director of Test and Validation and Manager of Validation and Testing, as well as a role as a Mechanical Engineer focusing on interior thermal management from April 2014 to July 2017. Tim's earlier career includes roles as a Systems Integration Engineer and Field Test Engineer at CNH Industrial from October 2004 to March 2014, and as a Draftsman at LeTourneau Inc from 2000 to 2004. Tim holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Diesel and Heavy Equipment Technology from Central Arizona College and has a strong educational foundation from LeTourneau University.
