Biswaprakash Rout

Biswaprakash Rout currently serves as the State Head at PhonePe, overseeing business operations, merchant acquisition, and engagement since October 2025. With extensive experience in sales and management, Biswaprakash previously held roles including Area Sales Manager at BharatPe, where a significant offline merchant ecosystem was developed, and Sales Manager at PhonePe, focusing on UPI payment adoption among various merchant types. Prior experience includes positions at Paytm, where Biswaprakash managed sales for digital payments, and at Suvidhaa, responsible for channel sales distributions in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Biswaprakash holds an MBA in Marketing from NM Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Utkal University.
