Manuj Batra is an experienced engineering professional with a background in software engineering and management. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at PhonePe since July 2018, Manuj leads the development of the Pincode feature and previously built the Stores Team and Discovery Platform. Prior to PhonePe, Manuj worked at Zopper.com from July 2013 to July 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, where contributions included developing user accounts and payment platforms for hyperlocal ecommerce, backend functionalities for online shopping, and APIs for configurable payment options. Manuj began a career as a Software Engineer, creating a distributed price crawling system. Manuj holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, obtained in 2013.
