Natalia Pashkevich

Natalia graduated from the G.V. Plekhanov Leningrad Mining Institute in 1962 as a mining engineer and economist. Since 1964, she has been working at the St. Petersburg Mining University as a junior researcher, assistant, assistant professor, professor, head of the department, dean, and pro-rector for academic work. From 1999 to present, she has been the first vice-rector.

In 1972 Natalia defended her thesis for a degree as a Candidate of Economic Sciences, in 1982 she defended her PhD thesis to become a Doctor of Economic Sciences, and in 1985 she was awarded the academic title of Professor.

From 2009 to present, Natalia is the head of the National Research University development program.

Natalia is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and a member of the International Academy of Ecology and Security. Natalia Pashkevich has been awarded the Order of Honour, is an Honoured Worker of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, and an Honorary Doctor of the Ch'an-Chun Geological University (China).
