Qian Xu

Qian Xu is a Senior Research Associate at Mirai Bio, specializing in lipid nanoparticles (LNP) development for mRNA encapsulation since February 2023. Prior to this role, Qian Xu worked as an Associate Research Scientist at Phosphorex, focusing on LNP formulations and other nanoparticle technologies from June 2022 to February 2023. Qian Xu has experience in formulating Poly Lactic-co-Glycolic Acid (PLGA) particles and manufacturing coated polystyrene nanoparticles. Educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, completed in May 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution, awarded in May 2021. An internship at OnsiteGene Inc. led to the development of super-fast qPCR testing for disease detection.
