Kristine Young-Halvorsen has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 when they worked as a researcher at Oslo University Hospital and the University of Oslo. Kristine then joined Photocure in 2016, where they initially served as a Medical Science Liaison. Kristine later became the Scientific Affairs Manager and is currently working as the Clinical Development and Medical Science Director at Photocure.

Kristine'seducation journey began in 2004 when they enrolled at the University of Bergen (UiB) and earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics in 2007. Seeking further specialization, Kristine attended the University of Aberdeen from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medical Imaging.
Determined to expand their knowledge and expertise, Kristine subsequently enrolled at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2008. Kristine dedicated five years of rigorous study and research, culminating in their successful acquisition of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medical Technology in 2013.
