Alexander McLellan

Alexander McLellan has a diverse range of work experience spanning several industries. Alexander served as the VP of Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs at PhotoDynamic Inc., where they contributed to the development of a novel technology to combat dental plaque. At Neurodyn Inc., they worked as the Director of Product Development, overseeing the creation of two new products and managing various responsibilities such as formulation management and clinical development. As the Chief Scientific Officer at NeuroQuest, they were responsible for managing preclinical studies and patent applications for new drug candidates. McLellan also served as the Chief Scientific Officer at Origin BioMed Inc., where they led the company's research activities and facilitated product distribution in numerous pharmacies. Additionally, they worked as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at Halifax Naturopathic Care, providing primary care services with a focus on nutritional testing and allergy identification. Finally, they worked as a Project Manager/Physician Educator at Restorative Formulations / WTSmed Supplements, managing projects related to product development, formulation, manufacturing, and regulatory strategy, as well as educating healthcare practitioners on product usage.

Alexander McLellan attended the University of Waterloo from 1980 to 1985, where they pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Chemical Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies, Alexandar then attended the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine from 1994 to 1998, earning a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree with a specialization in Human Health.
