Lionel Roy

Lionel Roy is a seasoned UX lead currently at Photon since April 2023, specializing in product discovery through workshops that help organizations envision their product's future. Previously, Lionel served as Deputy Director of User Experience for California College Guidance Initiative, where a systematic approach to product design and research was established, notably leading the creation of a financial aid plan curriculum. Experience as Experience Director at AVB Marketing involved revamping design processes and mentoring designers, while roles at Breyta and PubMatic included end-to-end product design and developing a design system. Notable contributions at Ooyala involved leading the design of a video distribution reporting tool, and early career experience at Intuit and Visa included creating significant user experiences for financial services and mobile applications.
