Laurens Weers

Laurens Weers has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Laurens currently serves as the CFO at PhotonDelta since February 2023. Previously, they held the same position at Lightyear from March 2020 to January 2023. Laurens was also the Chief Sabbatical Officer at an undisclosed company from April 2019 to February 2020. Prior to that, they were the CFO at Fatboy the original from October 2017 to April 2019, and at eldoLED from August 2013 to September 2017. Laurens started their career at Wesselman Accountants|Belastingadviseurs as a Senior Manager Audit from August 2008 to July 2013. Before that, they worked at EY as an Audit Manager from 2000 to 2008. Laurens also had a role as an External Advisor at Bizzion Eindhoven from March 2006 to December 2007, where they provided financial, fiscal, and business guidance to startups.

Laurens Weers completed a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (RA) from Avans University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2004. Later, from 2005 to 2008, they pursued a Post doctoraal Register Accountant degree in Accounting and Finance from Tilburg University.
