Bas Borgignons

Bas Borgignons is a highly experienced software engineer with a diverse background in engineering and technology. At PhotonFirst since July 2021, Bas has been contributing expertise in software development. Prior to this role, Bas worked at SII Netherlands B.V. and Avion Simulators, both from November 2019 to July 2021. Bas's career also includes significant experience as a simulator engineer at Flight Simulation Company from 2014 to November 2019 and as a reactor bedrijfs technicus at NRG from 2009 to 2014. Earlier in the career, Bas served as an R&D engineer at The Bluestream Group from 2007 to 2009 and spent a decade with the Royal Dutch Navy from 1997 to 2007, specializing as a weapons engineer in submarine service. Bas Borgignons is currently pursuing further education at Open Universiteit since January 2017, building on foundational training received at Koninklijke Marine Technische School from 1997 to 2000.
