Leonardo Moutinho Caffarello

Leonardo Moutinho Caffarello is an Embedded Software Engineer at Photonic Inc. since January 2023 and a Fellow at Fundação Estudar since July 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Radio Astrophysics Research Technician and Electrical Engineering Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of British Columbia, and as Principal Investigator and Payload Lead at the Atmospheric Cloud Chamber of the Okanagan, where Leonardo led a team for a stratospheric balloon launch with the Canadian Space Agency. Additional experience includes positions as an Embedded Software Developer and Flight Data Analyst Co-op at SKYTRAC, and various roles in engineering outreach and student engagement at The University of British Columbia. Leonardo holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Minor in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2021.
