Prasoon Kumar Shandilya

Prasoon Kumar Shandilya is a Quantum Engineer at Photonic Inc. since April 2023, with prior experience as a PhD student at the University of Calgary from January 2018 to March 2023, where notable accomplishments included developing the first optomechanical interface between telecom photons and spin qubits and innovative techniques for integrated quantum systems. Prasoon served as a Teaching Assistant for various physics courses, enhancing the learning experience for students. Earlier roles included Senior Thesis Researcher at IISER Kolkata, where criteria for testing entanglement of continuous-variable quantum states were re-conceptualized, and research internships at IIT-Bombay and Banaras Hindu University, focusing on quantum secure communication protocols and optical properties of novel compounds, respectively.
