Dr. Roy Shandy

Dr. Roy Shandy, DSc, CISSP, serves as the Associate Director of Penetration Testing at Phreesia, directing over 20 penetration tests annually and managing internal and third-party testing teams. With a robust background in application security and vulnerability management, Dr. Shandy has led significant enterprise programs, ensured compliance with various standards including PCI and HITRUST, and defined security controls across traditional and cloud environments. Prior experience includes roles at Express Scripts as a Senior IT Security Analyst, Brown Smith Wallace as a Senior IT Security Consultant, and several positions focused on security analysis and consulting. Dr. Shandy holds a Doctor of Science in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University, a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Western Governors University, and a Bachelor of Science in Simulation and Game Programming from ECPI University.
