Kristina Moorhead

Kristina Moorhead currently serves as Deputy Vice President of State Policy at PhRMA since November 2021, following a tenure as Senior Healthcare Consultant at Milliman and various roles at PhRMA that included Senior Director and Director of State Policy. Kristina has significant experience advising on state legislation affecting the biopharmaceutical industry and has testified before governments regarding these issues. Previous roles include serving as Senior Legislative Representative at AARP, where strategic guidance was provided for health-related issues and the development of telehealth policy. As Deputy Director at the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning, oversight of a large team and coordination of a multimillion-dollar Medicaid budget were key responsibilities. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University and a Business of Health Care Graduate Certificate from The Johns Hopkins University.
