Rebecca Nebel, PhD, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in science and regulatory advocacy. Currently serving as Senior Director at PhRMA since July 2020, Rebecca previously held the position of Director in the same department. From March 2019 to July 2020, Rebecca was a Project Manager at the National Institutes of Health. Prior roles include Director and Assistant Director of Scientific Programs at the Society for Women's Health Research from May 2016 to February 2019 and a Christine Mirzayan Science and Technology Policy Graduate Fellow at the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine in early 2016. As a Doctoral Researcher at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from August 2010 to January 2016, Rebecca conducted significant research on neurodevelopmental disease genes. Rebecca holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Genetics and Neuroscience from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a BS in Biology from Binghamton University.
