Sage R.

Sage R. currently serves as the Director of Advocacy and Strategic Alliance at PhRMA, focusing on grassroots campaign strategies to enhance patient access to medicines in the Pacific Northwest and Midwest regions. Previously, Sage held the position of Manager of Health Equity Policy at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, where responsibilities included monitoring health equity-related policies and acting as a subject matter expert. Experience also includes roles at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where Sage monitored the access landscape and engaged with state legislators, and as a Policy and Advocacy Associate at the Coalition to Transform Advanced Care. Sage began a career in advocacy and research with internships at the U.S. House of Representatives, the ONE Campaign, and other organizations. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health with a focus on Health Equity from Simmons University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and Psychology from Brandeis University.
