Hank Werronen

Hank Werronen has worked in the healthcare industry since 1967. Hank began their career at IBM as a Marketing Representative and later as Manager of Information Flow Design. In 1977, they joined Humana as Vice President and Chief Planning Officer, and was later promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. In 1986, they founded Werronen Healthcare Company, an independent health care strategy consulting firm. In 2011, they co-founded PHRQL, LLC, a company that developed software to support supermarket dietitians in providing nutritional counseling. In 2014, they founded ExtinQual, Inc, a company that developed innovative technologies to help first responders. Most recently, in 2021, they co-founded Wild Card Sports Inc, a company that developed a new fantasy sports game for major sports.

Hank Werronen obtained their BS in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University between 1961 and 1965. Hank then went on to obtain their MBA from Carnegie Mellon University between 1965 and 1967, with a focus in Business Management, Information Systems, and Marketing.
