Dr. Khanna is an attending physician, Division of Cardiology, at NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island, and clinical associate professor of medicine at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Government Medical College, Punjabi University, Patiala, in Punjab, India. He did his internship at Long Island College Hospital and his residency at Beekman Downtown Hospital, completing his cardiology fellowship at Coney Island Hospital, where he became an attending physician in the Emergency Department and, later, in the Division of Cardiology. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and emergency medicine, Dr. Khanna also is certified by the American Society of Echocardiography and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the American Society of Echocardiography. He has authored several publications and abstracts in the field of cardiology.
