Jeannie Kenkare, DO, began their work experience in 2004 as the Assistant Director of the Hospitalist Program at Waterbury Hospital. Jeannie then joined Yale School of Medicine in 2007 as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and a Preclinical Clerkship Communication Skills Educator. In 2008, they co-founded PhysicianOne Urgent Care and assumed the roles of Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder.

Jeannie Kenkare, DO started their education journey in 1992 at Rutgers University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Jeannie successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 1996. In the same year, Jeannie Kenkare enrolled at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - School of Osteopathic Medicine, where they pursued a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Jeannie completed their medical education in 2000, becoming a qualified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.
