Omar Purvis Hussain

Omar Purvis Hussain is a seasoned medical professional currently serving as Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff at Physicians Regional Healthcare System since February 2021. In addition to these roles, Omar serves as Managing Partner at Premier Inpatient Partners, LLC, and has held the position of Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Dimensions Healthcare System since June 2013. Previously, Omar worked as a Hospitalist at Premier Hospitalists of Southwest Florida in 2014. Educational accomplishments include a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ross University School of Medicine (2007-2010), a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland (2001-2004), and completion of a residency in Internal Medicine at Prince George's Hospital Center (2011-2014).
