Elizabeth Chamberlain

Elizabeth Chamberlain currently serves as the Head of Policy at the Institute of Physics since January 2021. Previously, Elizabeth held multiple positions at NCVO from July 2008, including Head of Policy & Public Services, Policy Manager, Senior Policy Officer, and Policy Officer. Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal and Executive Assistant at the European Council on Refugees and Exiles from 2006 to 2008, a Stagiaire at the European Commission's Cabinet on Justice, Liberty and Security in 2005-2006, and an Assistant to the First Counsellor at the Italian Permanent Representation to the EU in 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Oxford and a Master's degree in International Comparative Law from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
