Dinesh Kumar Patel

Dinesh Kumar Patel is a Research and Development Scientist at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since February 2022, focusing on Resistance Metrology with an emphasis on the Quantum Anomalous Hall Effect (QAHE) for metrology applications. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at National Taiwan University from August 2020 to January 2022, specializing in Quantum Transport in low-dimensional systems and chemical engineering for substrate cleanliness and graphene epitaxy. Dinesh Kumar Patel also served as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where expertise in DC and AC Quantum Hall Effect for resistance metrology was developed. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, specializing in the synthesis of graphene and nanomagnetic composites. Dinesh Kumar Patel holds a PhD in Engineering Physics from National Taiwan University, a Master of Technology in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and dual master's and bachelor's degrees in Physics-related fields from Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University.
