Dr. Richard Ciesielski is a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) since May 2020, specializing in the opto-electronic properties of new photovoltaic materials and the development of innovative research projects. Prior to this role, Dr. Ciesielski served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München from March 2012 to May 2020, where research focused on applying femtosecond laser spectroscopy to nanomaterials like graphene and carbon nanotubes, alongside numerous presentations at national and international conferences and in prominent scientific journals. Dr. Ciesielski holds a Promotion in Physical Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (2012-2016) and a Diplom in Physics from Technische Universität Dresden (2006-2011), with academic experience also including a stint at Utrecht University (2009-2010).
