Lea Schinzel

Lea Schinzel possesses extensive experience in biotechnology with a focus on cell culture and tissue engineering. Currently serving as a Labormitarbeiterin im Bereich Forschung & Entwicklung at Phyton Biotech since April 2020, Lea previously worked as a Mitarbeiterin Qualitätskontrolle at Miltenyi Biotec B.V. & Co. KG from November 2017 to March 2020. A solid foundation in laboratory work was developed through the role of Studentische Hilfskraft at the Institut für Experimentelle Pharmakologie und Toxikologie, UKE Hamburg, where Lea supported cell culture practices. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, complemented by various internships in material processing, electrical engineering, and environmental analytics. Additionally, notable projects involve tissue engineering and the differentiation of human-induced pluripotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes.
