Benzi (Ben Zion) Spector has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Benzi (Ben Zion) is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Pi-Cardia since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at InspireMD from 2016-2019 as the VP of R&D and Operations. From 2015-2016, Spector held the position of CTO at T.A.G. Medical Products Corporation Ltd.

In 2012, Spector held two roles simultaneously as VP of R&D at Mavrik Dental Systems LTD. and Modular Implants Dentistry LTD (MID Corp.). During this time, they were responsible for product architecture, system planning and development, and all R&D activities.

Spector also has experience as a lecturer at HaMikhlala HaAkdemit L'Handasa – SCE, where they taught the "Design and Development of Products" course and mentored design projects in 2011-2012.

From 2008-2012, Spector owned and operated their own business called Smart! - Spector Mechanical ART. The company provided mechanical engineering design and consulting services, with a focus on the medical devices industry in Israel.

Prior to that, Spector worked as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer at Biosense Webster from 2004-2008 and at Philips Medical Systems from 2002-2004. Benzi (Ben Zion) also served as the Manager of the Mechanical Engineering department at Celletra from 2000-2002, where they were involved in cellular systems design.

Benzi (Ben Zion) Spector completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from an unspecified institution between the years 1987 and 1991. Benzi (Ben Zion) then pursued a Master of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering from an unspecified institution between the years 1999 and 2001.
