Zheyuan Tony Yang possesses a diverse range of experience in film and media, currently serving as Journal & Podcast Co-Editor in Chief for the UCL Film & TV Society since October 2021, where editorial oversight has been provided for the Journal website and a fortnightly newsletter co-founded, boasting over 1800 subscribers. As a Film Critic, Zheyuan has reviewed films for the Society blog and contributed to collaborative pieces. In the role of Screenings and Socials Officer at Pi Media, Zheyuan has written articles on significant topics, while also taking on leadership roles such as PiTV Co-Editor in Chief. Notable accomplishments include co-producing for the Festival Of the Moving Image and curating a film event for the Barbican Centre, which was selected from over 120 proposals. Zheyuan has also held mentorship and representation positions at UCL, contributed investigative journalism, and gained recognition as a Model UN Delegate. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Literature at UCL, Zheyuan previously obtained a High School Diploma from the American International School Hong Kong and attended Tsinghua University High School.
