In their most recent role at Adaca, they served as an Advisor, focusing on offshore software development and implementing Adaca One, a platform for providing dedicated tech talent in real-time.
Prior to that, at Pia, Ferraro held the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Founding Chief Operations Officer/Chief Revenue Officer. Nic was responsible for various aspects of launching Pia into the market, including sales, marketing, channel partnerships, and technical operations.
As a Co-Founder and Advisor at Stringboard, Ferraro played a key role in helping organizations win high-value enterprise sales deals using interactive visual stakeholder maps.
At Virtual IT Group, they held different positions such as Chief Customer Officer and General Manager, overseeing sales, marketing, products, and partner success. During their tenure, they successfully implemented a go-to-market and product-led strategy, leading to a YoY revenue increase of over 30%.
Before that, at nbn Australia, Ferraro served as National Head of Marketing Strategy for Small and Medium Businesses, playing a crucial role in developing and delivering the SMB segment strategy.
During their time at O2 (Telefónica UK), they led the Connectivity, Comms, and Future team within the Product and Category Marketing division. In this position, they developed and drove product marketing strategies for various consumer, SMB, and enterprise products.
At ALCATEL-TCL, Ferraro served as the Head of Products and Marketing for the APAC region, overseeing product marketing, brand functions, and product launches.
As the Founder and Managing Director of Sports Business Insider, they established a leading source of news, analysis, and opinion in the sports business industry in Australia and New Zealand.
Prior to that, at Telstra, Ferraro held several senior product marketing roles, managing various categories such as pre-paid mobile, mobile broadband, and large business marketing and customer experience.

Nic Ferraro has a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Marketing and Management, as well as a minor in International Studies from the University of Wollongong. Additionally, they hold a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Technology Sydney. Nic also obtained a certification in Product Management and Product Marketing in Technology from The Learning and Performance Institute in 2017.
