Franz Reiter

Franz Reiter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Franz started their career at Austria Email AG in 1988 and worked there as the Head of Surface Technology for 13 years. During their time at Austria Email AG, they completed a three-year Plant Manager Diploma in Mechanics with excellence. In 2001, Franz joined AT&S AG as the Head of Department and Assistant Operations Manager. Franz progressed through various important posts and played a key role in the company, which is one of the top 10 PCB producers worldwide. Franz then moved on to the SCHMID Group in 2004, where they held the position of Director of Operations and Divisional Director. In this role, they contributed to the success of the privately owned Group in manufacturing chemical machinery for the PCB and Photovoltaic Business. After that, Franz worked as the COO at HHS Heavy Duty Packaging Group Co, focusing on providing packaging solutions for machinery. Franz was responsible for enhancing the day-to-day performance of the business and implementing operational excellence to streamline productivity. Most recently, Franz served as the Managing Director at PIA Automation Austria GmbH, where they oversaw the manufacture of production systems for powertrain components and delivered tailor-made automation solutions for high-end customers worldwide.

Franz Reiter completed their school education in Austria from 1974 to 1983. Franz then pursued a degree in Werkmeister für Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians) from Tech. Gewerbliche Abendschule, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Franz also obtained additional certifications including Lean Six Sigma Fundamentals from LinkedIn in 2016, Six Sigma - Black Belt from Motorola University in 2004, and Werksmeister - Maschinenbau from Techn. Gewerbliche Abendschule in 1996.
